Family-Friendly Features

Alpine Meadows Awards

Skiing Magazine's 2007 Resort Guide ranked Alpine Meadows as one of the best North American resorts. Transworld Snowboarding's 2007 Resort Guide's Top Ten for Value ranked it Number One for best return on your financial layout. In 2009, the Ski Area Citizen's Coalition honored Alpine Meadows with the distinction of being one of the top 10 environmentally friendly ski resorts. The coalition evaluates ski areas in terms of preservation of undisturbed lands from development, their energy efficiency, their protection of endangered species and other factors related to a healthy environment.

Alpine Meadows Resort Lift Tickets

The resort joined the high-tech revolution in 2010, with lift tickets embedded with radio frequency. This puts an end to the annoying process of hunting for your ticket and waiting for the ticket scanners to scan your lift ticket. Lift lines move faster as a result. Even better, if you decide to return to the resort in the near future, reload your ticket online at home. There's no need to wait in line at the ticket booth. You can also link your lift ticket to your credit card and use it for dining and retail purchases.

Errol Kerr is featured in Warren Miller's new film titled Dynasty, which was filmed at the Alpine Meadows Resort.
